At Hope, we aggressively explore tests and
therapies that have been proven safe and effective from other countries though
they may not have received US FDA approval. As an example
of tests used, Hope frequently receives reports from Research Genetic Cancer Centrewhich we refer to as
"The Greek Test". A sample of the patient's blood is shipped
overnight to Greece, where the lab determines if your
blood contains
circulating tumor cells. If cancerous
cells are present, the lab cultures them and places them in 38
different wells in order to determine which botanicals (aloe vera,
Vitamin C, mistletoe, etc.) the cancer cells are
sensitive. They also place the cancerous cells in 70 different
wells and check the cancer cells against various chemotherapies to check
for sensitivity.

A high
degree of success can be achieved at Hope, since we
look for causes of disease rather than just treating
symptoms. We have seen many instances in which focal
infections stemming from root canals or from
infections from previously extracted teeth
sockets known as cavitations have suppressed the
patient's immune
system creating an environment in which disease can
flourish. In other instances, we have found that heavy
metals such as mercury from dental amalgams aka "silver fillings", or from other sources such as
lead, cadimium, arsenic and antimony etc. can
contribute to the establishment of a disease condition.
In the
spirit of our philosophy, all of our treatments
incorporate as much natural healing as possible.

objective in mind.

descriptions of some of our most used therapies and

A little
background will help set the stage for understanding
Hope's treatment regimen.
In the 1930s Dr. Otto Warburg, a German Physicist,
was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work in the area
of Cancer. Dr. Warburg reported that normal human
cells subjected to a diminished oxygen environment
would mutate to become cancer cells. If the same
cells were then subjected to an abundant oxygen
environment, they would revert back to normal
cells! This was earth-shaking news, and spawned a
great deal of research into the role of oxygen in
degenerative diseases.
Most of the work until recently
has focused on increasing the oxygen level in the
blood (temporarily) to help kill pathogens such as
bacteria, virus, cancer, etc. This has proven to be
a valuable tool for many practitioners. Hope's staff
has used many techniques to increase the oxygen
level in the tissues, but only recently has
our staff uncovered some revolutionary aspects to
the oxygen therapies that radically improve its
effectiveness.
According
to Dr. William
Campbell Douglass, author of "Hydrogen Peroxide
-- The Forgotten Miracle." written in 1966,
"Not
only is Hydrogen Peroxide -H2O2 involved in phagocytosis (killing and absorption of foreign
germs), but also "it acts like insulin in that it
aids the transport of sugar through the body." Is is
also at least as important, or perhaps more so, than
thyroid for heat generation because it creates "intraceullar
thermogenesis, a warming of your cells which is
absolutely essential to life's processes."
Various physicians, including some of our referral
physicians, also use hydrogen peroxide therapy for
various ailments. Physicians have independently
discovered such treatments to be effective against
some types of cancer, leukemia, arthritis, coronary
heart disease, arterial circulation disorders,
colitis, gum diseases, and assorted children's
diseases."
Hope has
effectively and safely utilized Hydrogen Peroxide
for many years for the treatment of numerous
conditions and diseases.
Ozone water, provides a remarkable
boost to total system oxygenation, as well as natural and
rapid detoxification. Ozone rapidly oxidizes toxins and
aids in the elimination of wastes.
For
thousands of years, magnets have been used to aid in
healing and for creating a state of well being.
One of Hope's most beneficial devices is a 10,000
gauss uni-directional magnet.
Possibly one of the strongest magnets in Northern
America, this magnet has helped numerous patients heal
from fractures, congestive heart failure, cancer and
cartilage injuries, etc. Magnetic therapy helps
oxygenate tissue by increasing circulation.
Increased circulation and oxygenation helps alkalize
the tissue.
The
evidence is in and has been around for a long time and
can be found in the teachings at all medical
universities. The cytoplasm (inside), quantifiably the
largest part of a healthy cell, measured at rest, has
a negative charge potential. When stressed or
traumatized, the cell (now measured positively
potentiated or with a loss of its negative charge
value) sends an ascending signal through the nervous
system to the brain which in turn, sends the
descending signal to flood negative healing charges to
the cell (s) to get them back to their normal negative
charge potential (homeostasis). That is how the body’s
basic defense and healing system works – naturally
sending negative charges to the affected area. All of
these measurements have been conducted years ago on
the body with a very expensive mico-voltmeter known as
a Squid (Super Conducting Quantum Interference
Device).
What else
do the negative charges do - Trappe et al. showed the
reduction of cancer cells under a negative magnetic
field and a very aggressive proliferation with the
positive magnetic pole. Dr. Becker et al. (University
of Massachusetts) showed that a healing site always
goes negative once the healing starts. Starting in the
1930’s, Davis et al. conducted so many experiments
which have been duplicated so many times, that he is
considered the worldwide founder of the different
biological pole effects. His experiments
essentially provided the original physical precepts
about scientific magnetic healing. He found the
negative pole provided the calm electrical atmosphere
that promoted healing which was later identified to
mimic and amplify the body’s natural defense system.
He also found the positive field stimulates metabolism
which often interferes with the flood of negative
charges and stresses the healing site, which in turn,
floods the area with more negative energy. Simple to
understand – a doctor prescribes cold for swelling,
never heat. This is not to say the positive pole
should never be used. The positive pole, when used in
conjunction with the negative pole, has been found to
be necessary in specific treatment modalities when
instituting specialized circuits to initiate re-growth
of cartilage or breached nerve or bone unions. On the
proper location (s), it can potentiate nerve cells and
vitalize weak, nerve pathways, which in turn, elevates
the healing message (s) from the brain to the affected
areas. It also can reset and amplify the proper
current flows in the body as taught in Ayurvedic
medicine, Reike, Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Kinesiology,
Reflexology, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and is now being used,
studied and taught by contemporary medical scientists
and practitioners.
It is well
documented that cancer cells love tissue where there
is lack of oxygen, which also turns the tissue PH
acidic. Tissue that lacks adequate oxygen
induces the production of lactic acid, which causes pain. In addition, a low oxygen
environment causes signaling to the brain that more
blood vessels are needed in this area. This
signal is known as Hypoxia Inducing Factor (HIF).
When HIF is present, it results in a growth factor
being up-regulated (vascular endothelial growth
factor - VEGF), which encourages the growth of new
blood vessels to cancer cells. This is how tumors
grow!
A major
goal for body wellness is to oxygenate your tissues,
which helps bring the PH back to a more alkaline
state. One device used at Hope to help achieve
this state is the BEMER. Used in many European cancer clinics and
other clinics around the world, the BEMER is a mat that you
lay on to help energize each of your billion cells.
The BEMER's patented wave length generates an electro
magnetic pulse that mimics the earth's magnetic
pulses, which is one source of energy we need
to exist.
Unlike electrical lines, electrical
appliances and cell phones, etc., that create chaotic
wave lengths or high frequencies that are
very damaging to human tissue, the BEMER's frequency
is orderly, very low and is less than the intensity
you receive from the earth's magnetic force.
It is well documented that the earth's magnetic field
is weakening, so the BEMER supplements the energy we
should be receiving from the earth. This increases
blood flow to your tissues by as much as 15%, and

Hope aims to tackle disease from
every angle. One of those angles when dealing with
cancer is through Sodium Bicarbonate Therapy. Sodium
Bicarbonate Therapy was developed by Dr. Tullio
Simoncini an Italian doctor who specializes in the treatment of
cancer, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders. After years of scientific and clinical research, Dr. Simoncini discovered that
in the myriad
of cancer-causing factors, a common fungus, Candida albicans, is the common denominator of every
cancerous tumor. Therefore, killing the fungus is
often successful in the treatment of cancer.
Hope also
uses the Sodium Bicarbonate to alkalinize the
tissues of the body to create a more favorable
healing environment.
Sodium bicarbonate is a powerful,
readily available antifungal. Other antifungals are
not as powerful, but sodium bicarbonate is potent
enough to penetrate tumors, which are essentially
deep tissue fungal infections. Fungi are smart –
they are extremely adaptable and aggressive. However, sodium bicarbonate rapidly disintegrates
tumors - too quickly for fungus to adapt and resist

Phospholipids such as Phosphocholine, Phosphoserine and
Phosphoethenolamine are used to dissolve
artheroscleorotic lesions (plaque). and to remove fat
soluble toxins from the body. This is
essential in restoring normal neurological
functions.
Recent
research in the cardiology field has now shown that
the rate of atherosclerosis has increased
dramatically to the extent that the 40% of men at
age 40 now have some degree of arterial occlusion.
Many people discover they suffer from
atherosclerosis when they exhibit symptoms of heart
problems. Most patients will be given an EKG
Stress test or Nuclear Stress test to determine their
heart condition. What many people don't know
is that you can pass a stress test with 80 to 90+%
blockage. You pass the test and you think
everything is fine when it's not. One of
Hope's affiliated partners is ViaScan of Los
Colinas. ViaScan provides full body scans
utilizing an Electron Beam Tomography (EBT) scanner
that can detect arterial blockage, gall stones,
kidney stones, cancer, aneurysms etc. The EBT
scanner subjects patients to 90% less radiation than
most multi-sliced CT scanners, which is extremely
beneficial to cancer patients who should
be very conscientious about any unnecessary expose to
radiation.
At Hope,
our Super Chelation treatments are very effective
in gently removing the calcium deposits from the
artery wall. In addition Super Chelation not
only works both inside the cell and outside the cell, unlike conventional chelation
which only works outside the cell.
When we
speak of atherosclerosis we generally think of large
arteries being blocked leading to heart attacks and
stroke, but it is only logical to think that if the
large arteries are affected, the smaller arteries
(arterioles) would be also. Because of their
microscopic size it would be difficult to see such
occlusions with conventional testing but the lack of
blood flow to the tissue is equally as damaging. Chelation helps to
dissolve the blockage of these microscopic
occlusions thus helping to deliver oxygen to the
tissues in hopes of preventing heart attacks or
strokes.
It has long been known that certain
plant substances known as phyto-chemicals have a
positive influence on the immune system. We utilize
many different herbs and herbal compounds to help
detoxify, heal and promote healthy cell tissue
growth.
Enzymes are the proteins that
catalyze chemical reactions in the body.
Hope uses a variety of proteolytic
enzymes to inhibit hyper coagulation (thick blood)
and enzymes to increase metabolic function. We
also use enzymes to help to accelerate the digestion
of dead tumor cells.
Fighting disease takes a lot of
energy. This is a commodity that most patients
fighting a disease need in abundance. Hope recommends
a strict yet delicious diet that contains zero
artificial anything, and zero sugar or grains.
There are many recipes available that utilize nut
flours like pecan and almond that make wonderful
breads and deserts, and use natural sweeteners like
honey or Stevia. We also incorporate the most up to date nutritional products to
increase the body's energy level, thus helping the
immune system win its battle!
Given that 80% of our immune system stems from our digestive tract, Hope uses various
tests to determine current gastro-intestinal
(GI) health. Most Americans are "deathly
deficient" in enzymes and stomach
acid. Many advertisements have claimed acid
reflux disease is the result of too much stomach
acid. Hope's experience has been that it is actually too little stomach acid
that is the problem. Most patients do not have enough stomach acid to sterilize
their food and to liberate the nutrients in the food,
thus leading to malnutrition, bloating, constipation
and a host of other GI tract symptoms. Many
patients have been cured from their "acid reflux
disease" by adding hydrochloric acid during their
meals containing proteins.
In addition, many Americans have
active parasitic infections in their intestines
which can also cause acid reflux, asthma and
allergies as well as potential bowel blockages!
We recommend that most of our patients
use supplementation of digestive enzymes to aid in the
digestion of their food.
Enzymes are found naturally in
raw foods, but as soon as food is cooked, the
biological activity of the enzyme is destroyed.
Everyone is born with a certain potential for enzyme
production, but as we age or as we encounter immune
break downs, that production potential diminishes.
In order to keep the body functioning properly,
enzymes must be supplemented, especially when the
body is attacked by a disease.
Stress
reduction is a huge factor in boosting the immune
system. Massage is an excellent tool to help
relax tissue to increase blood flow. With
increased blood flow, tissue experiences an increase of
oxygenation, which is conducive to a more
alkaline environment, while also aiding in the
removal of toxins. A licensed massage

massage is prescribed as part of your treatment plan.
For
patients who may not be comfortable with full body

issues, reflexology foot massages are also

Massage
